The Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Hon. Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo (MP), has toured the ongoing 12th Zanzibar International Trade Fair (ZITF) 2026 at the Zanzibar Exhibition Centre in Dimani.
The trade fair, which began on December 29, 2025, is set to run until January 16, 2026, and forms part of the official celebrations marking 62 years since the Glorious Zanzibar Revolution.
During his visit, Hon. Kombo also toured the pavilion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, where he was welcomed by the Acting Director of the Zanzibar Foreign Affairs Office, alongside ministry staff serving at the office.
The ZITF aims to showcase and promote business and investment opportunities within and beyond Tanzania. A number of government institutions from both Zanzibar and Mainland Tanzania are participating, using the platform to engage the public and highlight the various services and products they provide.
