Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo (MP), has visited the 12th Zanzibar International Trade Fair (ZITF) 2026, currently taking place at the Zanzibar Exhibition Centre, Dimani. The exhibition began on December 29, 2025 and is scheduled to end on January 16, 2026. It is being held as part of the celebrations marking the 62nd anniversary of the Glorious Zanzibar Revolution. Upon arriving at the exhibition grounds, Hon. Minister Kombo also visited the pavilion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, where he was received by the Acting Director of the Zanzibar Foreign Affairs Office and ministry staff working at the office. The exhibition aims to highlight business and investment opportunities both locally and internationally. Various government institutions from Zanzibar and Mainland Tanzania are participating in the fair, providing an opportunity to educate the public about the services and products offered and produced by these institutions.
