The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, held discussions with Oman’s Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, H.E. Saeed bin Hamoud bin Saeed Al Maawali, at the State House, Tunguu, Zanzibar.
The meeting centred on strengthening bilateral cooperation in transport, communications, and information technology, with the two leaders exchanging views on expanding connectivity, enhancing digital infrastructure, and promoting technology-driven development between Tanzania and the Sultanate of Oman.
President Samia reaffirmed Tanzania’s commitment to fostering strategic international partnerships that support economic transformation and innovation, while the Omani Minister expressed Oman’s readiness to deepen collaboration in key sectors of mutual interest.
The engagement reflects the strong and enduring diplomatic ties between Tanzania and Oman and their shared commitment to advancing sustainable development through modern transport and digital solutions.
