PRESIDENT SAMIA CONCLUDES OFFICIAL VISIT TO UAE AFTER HIGH-LEVEL GLOBAL ENGAGEMENTS

The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, today bid farewell to various leaders at Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) in Dubai after successfully concluding her official working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

During the visit, President Samia actively participated in the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2026, a premier global platform that brings together world leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss future-oriented governance and development solutions. She also attended the launch of the Global Africa Investment Summit (GAIS), aimed at positioning Africa as a competitive destination for structured, impact-driven global investment.

The visit provided an important opportunity for Tanzania to strengthen diplomatic relations, promote investment opportunities, and advance international cooperation in areas including investment, infrastructure development, governance innovation, and economic transformation.

President Samia’s engagements reaffirm Tanzania’s proactive role in global dialogue and its commitment to building strategic partnerships that support sustainable development and long-term economic growth.
