Addis Ababa, Ethiopia | 15 February 2026 — H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, concluded her four-day official working visit to Ethiopia with a warm engagement with the Tanzanian community in Addis Ababa.
The President posed for a group photograph with children of staff of the Embassy of Tanzania and Tanzanians residing in Ethiopia, reaffirming her commitment to maintaining close ties with citizens living abroad.
During her visit, President Samia participated in the African Union (AU) Summit of Heads of State and Government held on 14–15 February 2026. The Summit convened African leaders to deliberate on strategic continental priorities, including peace and security, institutional reforms, and sustainable development.
Her interaction with Embassy families and members of the diaspora formed part of her broader diplomatic engagements, underscoring Tanzania’s people-centered approach to international relations.
