
Dar es Salaam | 18 February 2026 — The Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, held high-level discussions with the Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to Tanzania, H.E. Helen Bawange Dingani, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding practical cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting took place at the Ministry’s sub-offices in Dar es Salaam and focused on reinforcing the Tanzania–Zimbabwe partnership through the identification of shared priorities, enhanced diplomatic engagement, and the exploration of concrete avenues for collaboration.
Both sides underscored the importance of sustaining constructive bilateral dialogue that delivers tangible outcomes, particularly in the context of a dynamic and evolving regional environment. The discussions reaffirmed the strategic value both countries attach to their longstanding relations and their shared commitment to deepening cooperation for mutual benefit.
