
Dar es Salaam, February 2026 – The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, today met and held discussions with the Ambassador of Singapore to Tanzania, Mr. Douglas Foo, at State House in Dar es Salaam.
The high-level meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Tanzania and Singapore, particularly in the areas of technology, education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
President Samia reaffirmed Tanzania’s commitment to deepening diplomatic and economic cooperation with Singapore, emphasizing the importance of leveraging innovation and technology to accelerate national development.
The discussions also explored opportunities for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and increased investment in strategic sectors that contribute to sustainable economic growth.
Tanzania and Singapore continue to enjoy cordial relations, with growing collaboration aimed at promoting shared prosperity and mutual development interests.
