Energy Minister Ndejembi Orders REA to Exclude Underperforming Contractors from Future Projects
Tanzania’s Minister for Energy, Hon. Deogratius Ndejembi, has directed the Rural Energy Agency (REA) to stop awarding new contracts to underperforming electricity contractors, while commending the agency for expanding rural electricity access to 78.1 percent and achieving universal village electrification across Mainland Tanzania.
